To travel around Koh Samui is not at all hard, transport here is quite many options distance and any budget that you have. To go to Samui by plan is very easy. You can flight directly to Samui by Bangkok Airway, about 19 flight perday and Thai Airway, about 2 flights a day or you can flight to Surat Tani airport. There have suttle bus and van provide to go to port and take ferry or speed boat to go to Samui

Getting to Koh Samui by train from Bangkok involves taking a train at Bangkok’s Hualamphong station. Timing is about 8.5 hours and 12 hours depending on the train. Then you have to take Don Sak ferry terminal and then the 1.5 hour trip over to Samui. The bus and ferry take about 4 hours in total. If you want to go by train, you have to book in advance about 5 days, for high season have to book earlier.

Koh Samui's has only two months of rain. The heaviest precipitation is typically seen in the months of October and November. For the rest of the year are a good time to travel.
